Age 83 of North St. Paul, MN, died on September 13, 2023. 

Preceded in death by wife, Karen; parents, Russell & Grace Gear; brother, Jim; and sister, Marion.

Survived by his children, Kay  (Lynn), Christy (Steve), and Peder (Meredith); grandchildren, Henry, Russell, Ted, Andrew, Sara, and Wesley; sisters-in-law, Mary (Pat) & Kathy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jon served in the Navy from 1958-1962.

Visitation 4-8PM on Friday, September 22 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, North St. Paul.

A celebration of Jon's life will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 23rd at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2499 Helen St. N, North St. Paul.

Private interment at a future date.

Jon supported and contributed to many people in the community as well as various organizations. Memorials preferred to St. Mark's Lutheran Church (https://stmarks-nsp.org/), or to the organization of your choice.
