Aleta Marie Ortez, also known as Leets, peacefully passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 62 in Maplewood, MN. Aleta has battled Large B-Cell Lymphoma for almost a year. She also leaves behind her cherished best friend, Marianne "Bootch" (Steve) Christianson. Aleta's memory will forever be treasured by her children: Mark (Kelly) Bassett, Nicole (Christopher) Heimall, Tanner Sweedman, and Ethan Ortez-Thomas. Additionally, she is survived by six adored grandchildren, numerous cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
