Obituary of Joseph Edmund Casurella

Casurella, Joseph Edmund, age 89, of Lake Elmo passed away peacefully on November 5th.

Joe grew up in Chicago, graduated from Notre Dame and retired in Minnesota after 40 years at 3M. He travelled the world, hung out with celebrities, and appeared on televison, but enjoyed simple things the most.

Upbeat, smart, generous, and funny, he loved his family, reading (especially history and biographies), singing, horse racing, cigars, golf, casinos, and all thing Notre Dame.

Father of Bob (Luann), Jim (Deb) and Bill (Patty); Grandfather of Brian (Jess), Rachel, Kristin (Joe), Andy, and Jon (Christina); Great-Grandfather of Emma, Nolan, and Brady.

Preceded in death by Marilyn, his wife of 63 years, brothers Frank, Bob, Jack and sister Charlotte.

He will be greatly missed.
