Obituary of Lori Jo Engesser

Lori Jo (Limbert) Engesser – 08/19/1958 – 11/15/2023, was born in Red Wing, MN to Gerald and Ardys (Dahling) Limbert.  After high school she married and moved to Woodbury, MN where she was blessed with 2 boys and lived the remainder of her life.  She is survived by her son Daniel and Michelle Engesser of Woodbury, MN, her son David and Elizabeth Engesser of Apple Valley, MN, her sister Sheila and John Frey of Springfield, VA.  She is survived also by 4 grandchildren who were the loves of her life Hadley, Clara, Coral, and Finn. 

Lori received her degree later in life and was immensely proud of the work that she did at Xcel Energy as a Performance Improvement Analyst and Root Cause Evaluator.  Her passions in life were art, painting, drawing, singing, and of course spending time with her beloved grandchildren.  She was an active member at the Lutheran Church of Peace and cherished the time she spent with her bible study group the Lydia’s, being art and scripture leader, choir member and many other capacities that she supported the church in.

Memorial Services will be held at the Lutheran Church of Peace, Maplewood, MN on December 8th, 2023 – Visitation 4-5PM, Services 5-6PM, and Funeral Reception 6-7PM

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lutheran Church of Peace, Maplewood, MN
