Obituary of Sylvester Peter Kotula

Kotula, Sylvester P. "Les", age 90 of Maplewood. Died peacefully surrounded by family on 2/4/24. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by wife Jeanette; son Tom (Gaelyn Newbury); daughters Sandy (Mike) Stahnke and Nancy (Ed) Marah; grandchildren Mike (Kaydi)  Stahnke, Jr and Sara (Nick) Bjerken; step-grandchildren Jenny, Derek and Amanda Marah and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents and 5 siblings. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday February 8 at 12:00pm with visitation 10:00am-12:00pm at Church of St. Peter, 2600 Margaret St. No, North St. Paul, MN 55109. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Croix Hospice, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
