Obituary of Donna Eda Bjostad

Donna Eda (King) Bjostad, age 90, of White Bear Lake passed away peacefully Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Donna was born in Spring Valley, MN to George and Linda (Makowski) King. She attended and graduated from Spring Valley High School before moving to Duluth, MN where she met her husband, Kenneth. After marriage, they moved to St. Paul, eventually settling in Roseville, MN and raising two children, Michael, and Kathleen.

Donna worked for 3M as a billing analyst for 25 years before her retirement. In retirement, Donna enjoyed attending her granddaughters' school, dance, and sporting events, monthly breakfast with the Bjostad clan, reading, and watching the MN Twins and MN Vikings games.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; brothers Russell King and Gordon King and sister-in-law Mary King. She is survived by her son Michael (Maria) and daughter Kathleen Bradt (Eric) and their children Ashley Putney (Ben) and Hanna, and sister Georgia Barber of Stewartville, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Service Friday 11:00 AM at ROSEVILLE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1215 Roselawn Avenue, Roseville with visitation 1 hour before the service. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers. 651-777-2600
