Dear Cathy and Family, We were so sad to read of Ed's passing, but what a touching, loving obit you wrote for him. We both worked closely with Ed at the PPD and remember him as a soft-spoken southern gentleman with a warm smile. We had a lot of fun together doing the work we all loved. Ed was a talented artist, but he was also a friend and a highly respected and dedicated coworker with a quiet sense of humor that helped keep a balance in the sometimes frantic 24-hour publishing cycle. We are sorry we could not be there in person on Friday, but know that you were in our thoughts and prayers. With sympathy, Jack and Diane Moser

Ed was a great brother-in-law, husband to my sister, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His wit and calm cool manner will be missed as well his ability to beat me on the golf course. Marcia and I will never forget when Ed and Cathy took us to dinner in St. Paul. It was ther first time we met Ed with Cathy and you could tell they belonged together. We will cherish all the memories with Ed, Cathy and all the children. We love you so very much. John and Marcia.
