Papa; my favorite cribbage opponent, an even better partner, the most stubborn, determined, hardworking person I know, a humble soul, the best teacher, the man who could always make me laugh & loved his family to the ends of the world.
Words cannot describe this empty feeling that I have in my heart, you were taken from us to soon. You lived an amazing 84 years, 66 of those years married to the most wonderful woman, leaving 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren & all of the others you adopted as family, to carry on your legacy.
I will forever cherish the memories that we created over the past 27 years, especially the ones created the past year, since welcoming Cecilia into the world.
I hope you’re enjoying a nice glass of Gentleman Jack in Heaven, looking down at your crazy family as we stand together to get through this difficult time.
I love you forever, Papa.
