Annette and I were friends for 35 years. She was obviously a special person to put up with me for that long. She even took in my wayward teenage daughter for six months. We loved serving together at Lighthouse Baptist Church (it was a star-up church at the time), cross stitching, ceramics, swimming with the kids, and most recently - she introduced me to Diamond Dot Art. We loved to visit each other after I moved back to Colorado. On one of her visits with the family, they arrived while I was giving birth to my youngest child - that made for an interesting time together. I was able to go to Texas to visit with her for her last birthday in February - such an honor. She was healthy and we had a great time so that will always be special to me.
I appreciated the time I got to spend with her and the family before she passed and will value that forever. Her daughters are wonderful, beautiful people and her siblings at a hoot. Thank you all for making me feel welcomed and including me in her last days. I pray you all have the fondest of memories and know how much she loved you all. She is whole and at peace and watching over you.
