Bonnie Mae Marone enjoyed many fun occasions in Cut Bank, Montana growing up with Don and Jamie. She was always my Guardian Angel in times of joy and stress for over 70 years. Shirley was the life of the neighborhood with quick wit and lots of laughter.
Shirley has touched many with her kindness and joyful spirit. We pray God is keeping her safe and at peace. We shall never forget her and will always remember her with a loving heart. Sincerely with love. Prayers and hugs from our family, Lee and Bonnie Manicke, Marlo and Ryan Domier, Antonio and Carole Manicke, Izak, Ollie, and AdiLyn Manicke.

Aunt Shirley was my mother's younger sister. I remember her visiting when I was a young child. Then life happened. She wrote and called my mother frequently, but I had little contact with her for nearly 40 years. In her later years, my mom lost much of her vision, and I often read Shirley's letters to her. I discovered they were very much alike. They were children during the great depression and experienced poverty before poverty programs existed. They grew strong and proud. My sister Anne, her husband Ken and I visited Aunt Shirley about 10 years ago. She was still strong and full of life. Her laughter filled the room and lifted spirits. Last year Anne's family and I visited Aunt Shirley and it was a blessing for all of us. I met my cousin Tassie and her daughter Michelle for the first time.
The family we leave behind is our legacy. Aunt Shirley, our love goes with you and we will remember you fondly. Tell my mom we miss her. As your journey continues with Uncle Donald, grandma and grandpa, and your brothers and sisters we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
