Obituary of Shirley F. Wilder

Shirley F. Wilder, 98 passed away January 30, 2024 at Boutwell's Landing, Oak Park Heights Minnesota after a long life. She was preceded in death (by almost everyone), her husband of 66 years Donald Brooks Wilder, her parents and all of her sisters and brothers. She was born to Thomas and Sena Juhl Galligan in Ashland Wisconsin. She was raised in Spooner, Wisconsin and graduated from Spooner High School in 1943.

She resided in Cut Bank and Havre Montana, and Saint Paul Minnesota. She retired with Donald to Mesa, Arizona, then to Fort Worth, Texas, and to Stillwater, Minnesota.

She is survived by her sons Don and Jamie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; they were a great blessing in her long life. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Althea Jean Galligan of Brainerd Minnesota.

At her request there will be no services. There will be a private family burial in Ashland Wisconsin at a later date.
